Device for feeding plastics bags delivered from a bag thermo-welding machine has a switch for selective feeding the bags (20) to a pair of further conveyors (303a, 303b). Switch (301) consists of one or more endless belts (307a, 307b) between which the bags (20) are fed to suction aperture(s) (358) which are arranged such that during their being contacted by the leading edge of the bag, they are exposed to the action of suction. Prodn. rate of bags can be selectively increased or controlled.
