The foot-rest can be adjusted in height for a person seated, and consists of a foot-plate (1) which can pivot on a horizontal axle (5) which runs parallel between the front (7) and back (8) edges. The middle part (2) of the frame holds the foot-plate axle (5), and is pivot mounted on part of the floor support (3) parallel to the floor support axle (10), with its end (9) facing the free end (6). The floor support axle (10) rubs near the back edge (8) of the floor support frame (3). A compression spring (12) is positioned between the floor support (3) and the middle of the frame (2). An operating pedal (15) is mounted on a pedal axle (16) and has a lock (17).
