Joystick for regulating colours of TV receiver - adjusts blue intensity independently of red and green which are inversely adjusted relative to one another

The device comprises a manually operated joystick type control lever (27) which passes through elongate slots in two stirrup bars (31,32) orientated perpendicular to one another such that movement of the lever in the X-Y and Y-Y directions moves a respective one of the bars independently of the other. One bar (32) is connected to the slider of a potentiometer (18) controlling the voltage of the blue electrode of the television tube while the other bar (31) is connected at its ends to the slides of the 'red' and 'green' potentiometer (14,16). The latter are electrically connected such that movement of the lever to increase the 'red' voltage automatically reduces the 'green' voltage. The regulating of the blue intensity does not affect that of the other colours.
