The tubular flowmeter connects to the pipework. The flowmeter is in the form of a bend, with the pressure connection located at a partic. angular position, forming an elbow section to provide measurement at low flow rates. The device comprises an exterior tube bent at 90 degs. and terminated by downstream and upstream flanges. A second tube is located coaxially inside the tube and terminates at a flange separated by a sealing joint from the upstream flange of the first tube. The second tube terminates at approx. 50 degs. and diametrically opposing pressure connections extend from the inner tube and through the outer tube to which they are sealed.
