Resonance testing with sine-forming alternating loads initiation - using oscillatable transverse had forming part of oscillation chain of masses and various springs

The system initiates sine-shaoed alternating loads with and without positive or negative mean tensions in examined material specimens and components. In resonance operation the oscillatable transverse head forms a component part of an oscillation chain, formed by an adjustable oil spring (CM), a mass forming piston (m), a specimen spring (cm), the transverse head at the main mass (M) and an adjustable gas soring (CR). The adjustable gas soring serves for initiating a variable advance load in the positive or negative working region of the machine. Preferably the advance load should be zero, thus enabling the disposal of the adjustable preload system. The transverse head may be used in the system as an oscillating mass. Additional weights may be arranged on the transverse head, which remain there in a possible repetition operation. The resonance excitation may take place over a servo-valve.
