<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe removal means for removing a removable card device in an information device fitted with a control program having a function of accessing the card device. <P>SOLUTION: A sensor 13 is provided for an eject button 12 which is pressed to remove the card device 2. The user operates the eject button 12, senses using a sensor 13 a removal event by which the card device 2 is removed, and reports the event to the control program. When the removal event is reported, the control program controls a stopper control part 20 in such a way that removal of the card device 2 is made possible when access to the card device 2 is completely stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
