The movable chair with seat and foot-rest consists of a base plate (23) along which is at least one guide rail (13) on a mounting (10). A vertical bearing pin (22) enables the foot-rest (17) to pivot on the base plate (23). A curved guide (18) supports the seat (14) and is positioned concentrically to the bearing pin (22). The centre rail (13) of three rails (12,13) supports the base plate (23). The seat (14) is fixed onto side pieces (20). Brakes (24,25) can be operated from the seat (14) and lock the seat along its curved guide track (18), and the foot-rest (17) in relation to the rail (13).
