<p>The dung collector for pig raising plant uses special heat exchanger plates which are covered by the dung, so that heat generated can be transferred to a water circulation system. The heated water can be used for a central heating system e.g. a boiler water supply or underfloor heating. The heat exchanger plates can measure 2m x 3 m, having a wood chip top layer 1 cm thick on top of a plastics form layer 3cm thick, followed by a foil layer and a pvc frame carrying a coiled plastics tube protected by an edging strip. The circulating water is heated to a temperature of between 60 and 65 degrees. C.</p> |
