PURPOSE:To obtain powder ink which permits high-speed fixing without any offset phenomenon when used in a contact hot roller fixing device by using a heat-shrinkable elastic resin as a binder component. CONSTITUTION:A heat-shrinkable resin (polybutadiene, styrene-butadiene rubber, acrylic rubber, etc.) of <=1,000kg/cm<2> (18 deg.C) elastic modulus as a binder component is compoud with a coloring agent, charge control agent, etc. and the mixture is kneaded, thence this is ground and classified to prepare the powder ink for hot roller fixing. The above-mentioned heat-shrinkable resin is usually used alone as a binder component, but it is equally well to use this in combination with other thermoplastic resins (vinyl resin, acrylic resin, etc.) at an amount of about <=50wt%. |
