PURPOSE:To save an electrical consumption and to prevent an inner wall of a heating cylinder from carbonization by a method wherein a screw equipped with an electric heater is accommodated in the heating cylinder to melt thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:The thermoplastic resin fed from a hopper is introduced into the heating cylinder having a band heater 1' at a fore end portion thereof and is molten under heating by a rotary motion of a screw 6' equipped therein with an electric heater 8 consisting of a cartridge heater, thereafter, is injected into a cavity of a mold through a cylinder head 4 and a nozzle 5. According to this method, milling of the resin upon revolution of the screw may be improved, a resin changing or a color changing may be effected sooner than before and generation of a color shading may be prevented even in case of a color development by a dry blend. |
