PURPOSE:To make it easy and quick to select many channels, by providing a microcomputer system between channel selection switches and electronic tuners in a television set with plural screens. CONSTITUTION:Signals from antenna 20 are received by electronic tuners 21-24 and passed through intermediate frequency amplifying circuits 25-28. To control a display position and screen size, those signals are led to memories 49-52 via A/D converters 45-48. Those memories are controlled with a synchronizing signal to display plural screens on CRT. The channel selection part detects the search switch of channel-selection switch 41 being depressed by CPU38 and sends the following channel-selection input to latches 33-36 as binary-coded codes. Outputs of latches are decoded by decoders 29-32 into channel selection signal, which are applied to electronic tuners 21-24. Thus, the assignment of channels is facilitated. |
