PURPOSE:To reduce installation space and raise heat retaining property by making a double structure in which a heated water storage tank is provided directly below a heat receiving heater and a filler of polyurethane for example is injected into the hollow part between the heater and tank. CONSTITUTION:A heater 2 fitted in a cabinet 4 with the hood 1 of a transparent sheet and a keep plate 3 placed therebetween on one hand and a tank 5 on the other are combined into a unitary body and shut off from the atmosphere by the screw- closing of a back cover 6, bolt 8 and a nut 9, and a heater 2 is let receive the sunlight from the hood 1 and the radiant heat of a space 14. The heater 2 is made of a small-diameter long port 10 having several bends 18. Water is fed through an inlet 12 and passes through the port 10. Heated water from an outlet 13 is stored in the tank 5. In the meanwhile, water feed rate and hot water temperature are controlled using a change-over valve 20. This water heater is made into a double structure by injecting a filler 7 between the hollow part 16 between a cabinet 4 and the circumferential wall of the cover 6 to improve in strength and heat retaining property. |
