PURPOSE:To constitute the projecting flank of a holding cylinder and the flank of an optical fiber on the same surface by fixing the fiber coupling end and the opposite end to a base via the holding cylinder and also to attain a connector connection to other fibers. CONSTITUTION:On base 1, flanks and opposite ends of optical fibers 4-6 constituted by being coupled optically are fixed being projected from base 1 via holding cylinder 7 to a preseribed size, so that it will be made easy to process the projecting flank of holding cylinder 7 and optical fiber flanks internally surrounding its center in the same plane. Next, while the end of holding cylinder 7 is grasped, connector- connecting flange 9 is fitted and fixed on the flank of base 1 by screwing it and a cover member is fixed on base 1 to attain the one-body constitution, so that the miniature light circuit device can be obtained which has the simple connector connection part, can easily connected to other optical fibers via the connector and is durable and excellent in photocoupling efficiency. |
