<p>PURPOSE:To provide a handy, widely applicable adsorbent by a method wherein dawsonite is included into a foliaceous material to form a foliaceous adsorbent. CONSTITUTION:A fibrous material is added with a small amount of dawsonite, or dawsonite added with proper amount of active carbon, a binder, and a fixing agent and made into a slurry, which is screened and pressed to form into a rolled paper. Alternatively, a fibrous material is formed into a foliaceous material, which is then impregnated, coated or uniformly sprayed with a slurry in which a proper amount of dawsonite and/or active carbon is added, and dried. The content of dawsonite is determined by its application. A foliaceous adsorbent may have forms of a foliaceous material 1 including distributed dawsonite 2, a foliaceous material 1 the surface of which is covered with dawsonite 2, or both laminated into a sandwitch.</p> |
