<p>The pressure switch has an air closure part (6) acted on by a diaphragm spring (6) with partly negative characteristics. The pressure difference between the two snap-points of the spring ensures that the two tyres being monitored are kept separate. A helical spring is parallel with the diaphragm spring and is used to set the switching point. The part (6) also operates electrical devices (16,18) that release a warning signal. The part is a membrane carrying a switching element (7) that has a sealing disc (8) on one side and the diaphragm spring on the other side. The switching element is connected via a switching rod to contacts.</p> |
