The cover closes inset sockets (or similar electrical installations, e.g. junctions) from the front and has a central chamber on its outside for a coloured tablet. The tablet colours the plaster when acted on by the moisture in the wet plaster and thereby makes the position of the socket covered by the cover and plaster clearly visible. The chamber that holds the tablet (18) has elastic side walls (19). The walls are constructed as spring fingers with hooks at their ends to engage over the tablet. Four such fingers may be present and they may have reinforcing ribs.
