<p>PURPOSE:To exactly transfer the pattern of a mold onto a base plate by a method in which an adhesive sheet and a convexed plate are superposed on a base plate provided with a desired uneven pattern by rough carving and impregnated with a thermosetting resin, and then a mold is placed on the convexed plate with the interposition of a releasing film and hot-pressed. CONSTITUTION:The base plate 1 is prepared by forming a desired uneven pattern on the surface of a wooden fiber plate, e.g., fiber board, chip board, particle board, plywood, etc., by a rough carving method and then coating and impregnating a thermosetting synthetic resin, e.g., epoxy resin, etc., on the surface of the wooden fiber plate. Then, the base plate 1 is superposed with the adhesive sheet 2 consisting of a fibrous assemblage, e.g., a synthetic fiber or cotton nonwoven fabric or paper, etc., previously impregnated with a thermosetting resin, further with the convexed plate 3 obtained by slicing cherry wood, teak, pine wood, etc., and then touched by the mold 5 with the interposition of the releasing film 4. Then, they are hot-pressed by means of the pushers 6. The moisture content of the convexed plate 3 is preferably regulated at 5-15%.</p> |
