PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a unit by reducing its scale by inputting and outputting signals at a halfway point on a optical transmission line by changing over the transmission line by use of a photoswitch that switches a photosignal as it is. CONSTITUTION:Photosignals propagating through input-side fibers 1 and 2 are transmitted to output-side fibers 1' and 2'. A photosignal from signal source 4 consisting of television camera 41 and electrooptic converter 42 is sent to fibers 1' and 2' via optical fiber 3. To switch the photosignals, the photoswitch of photoswitch part 51 is switched through signal transmission lines 6 and 6'. |
