摘要 PURPOSE: To absorb water down to the dense tissue on the rear sides of rice grains and to improve the taste of boiled rice by previously penetrating a soln. of a surfactant in a superfine particle state into the rice grains at a specific ratio of the weight of the rice grains. CONSTITUTION: The wind discharged from a fan 7 contains the moisture of the particulates generated by a mist generator 6 during passing the mist generator 6 and flows into a pressurized tank 2 from a wind feed port 21 of the ceiling wall of the tank. The surfactant is included in the moisture of the particulates. Namely, the surfactant soln. in the water tank of a surfactant supplying device 604 is controlled by a command of the control section within a control panel 8 via a valve 607 in such a manner that the supply rate thereof attains <=0.003% of the rice grains. The air flow including the diluent of the surfactant enters the inside of a humidifying cylinder 203A from the many pores thereof and comes into contact with the respective rice particle surfaces agitated and lifted by a screw 206, by which the air flow is condensed to the entire surface and is absorbed therein under the pressurized state within the pressurized tank 2.
