PURPOSE:To smooth the distribution of the magnetic flux density of voids and decrease braking action functioning to a conductor at the secondary side by a method wherein surfaces where slots for the field winding of a core at the primary side form are covered with a sheet in a magnetic material. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic pole pieces 12 and slots 13 are alternately formed to a core 10 at the primary side made up by laminating iron plates, and field winding 11 flowing polyphase currents is formed around the magnetic pole pieces 12. Surfaces where the slots 13 make up are covered with a sheet 10 with thickness such as 1.0-1.5mm. built up by a magnetic material. Thus, magnetic flux density of slot 13 portions rises, and braking force by the pulsation of magnetic flux can be decreased. And mean magnetic flux density rises, and thrust increases. |
