<p>The door is filled with an insulating material and can give protection against break-in if the contained material is sleeping gas. It can give protection against contamination such as toxic, bacteria or radiation by choosing different infill materials. The door has two fixed panels (1,2) and two mobile panels (3,4), the latter sunk into openings in the fixed panels when the door is closed. Small nibs and recesses aid fitting. A traction roller (12) opens the door by pulling a rigid membrane (8) along a central track (11), so that hinged connecting rods (91-95,101-105) pull the mobile panels inwards and to the right, revealing an opening behind them.</p> |
