<p>Car transporter, partic. for breakdowns, includes two parallel rigid rails (1) connected to the lorry chassis (2) which are made up of pref. horizontal and inclined sections (1a,1b). A movable platform (3) runs on rollers (4) along the rails into a tipped position allowing the vehicle to be loaded. The platform is actuated by a double action ram(s) mounted between the chassis and the platform. Pref. one end of the ram is connected to the chassis cross-member and the other end to the rear end of the platform.</p> |
