PURPOSE:To prevent the deposition of mold material on metal mold surface effectively by laying paper or the like of smooth surfaces and abrasion resistance on the metal mold surface right under the blow port of the mold material in molding by a cold box method. CONSTITUTION:A cushion sheet 6 such as paper or resin which is smooth in surface and is provided with abrasion resistance is laid on the top surface of a lower metal mold 2 right under the blow port 3 pierced to an upper metal mold 1 in the metal mold for molding by an upper metal mold 1 and a lower metal mold 2 or the nozzlelike blow port 5 provided on the blow plate side 4. After this, predetermined mold material 7 is blowed into the metal mold and is thereby molded.
