PURPOSE:To obtain a visible image which excels in the sharpness and the gradient, by providing both the toner layer supporter holding component which transports the toner of one-component group and the development roller and then installing the means which charges the toner particle to either one of the holding component and the roller. CONSTITUTION:The developing device uses the conductive rubber roller 9 as the toner layer supporter holding component. The roller 9 turns in the direction of the arrow to supply the nonmagnetic toner of one-component group through the toner supplier 7 provided on the roller. The toner then sticks onto the rubber roller by the van der Waals force of the toner itself plus the tackiness of the roller 9. Then the charging charge is applied to the toner via the frictioncharging component 10. The roller 9 moves to the position where to touch or approximate to the development roller 11, and thus the toner on the roller 9 sticks onto the roller 11. In such way, a visible image which is exels in the sharpness and the gradient can be obtained. |
