A runner for a drawer or other furniture slide is formed as (or is lined with) a unitary elongate piece of antifriction elastic material (Fig. 1) which is folded into its final cross sectional form (Fig. 2) by bending along lines of weakening (3) which run in the longitudinal direction of the member, wherein said final cross sectional form includes a space of L shaped cross section to accommodate a complementary runner part.
