<p>The pump has a housing, with one or more rotors, abutting its internal side walls. The blades are radially adjusted by the rotor rotation, and within the housing separates regions, which are connected to a vacuum inlet, and an air outlet respectively. A side end plate (4) of the housing (1) abuts an end face (12,14) of the blades and the rotor, due to the vacuum generated by rotation of the rotor (7), in one of the housing regions (18). The end plate consists preferably of elastic material, and may have a thin wall section (22) in the housing section connected to the inlet on the vacuum side.</p> |
