<p>A lightweight structural material is produced from pulverised fly ash having a bulk density before pressing of not more than 1.3.gm/cm<3> together with 0.5-2.0% by weight an organic binder, the composition being pressed at a pressure of not less than 1.5 tons/in<2> to form a coherent body which is subsequently fired at a temperature in the region of 1000-1200 DEG C.</p> |
