Material having emulsifying and skin-beneficiating properties, is produced by de-oiling crude vegetable lecithin with acetone; treating the residue with ethanol and centrifuging; mixing the alcohol-insoluble material (still contg. 50-60% of ethanol) with 15-20% of a vegetable oil; and evaporating the ethanol to obtain a viscous product contg. biologically valuable inosite phosphatides, phosphatidylserine and other accompanying phospatides dissolved in oil in a ratio of about 1:5. The phosphatides dissolved in a vegetable oil can easily penetrate into the skin.
