<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned member which is joined unitarily by a method wherein a pre-heated specified substance to be worked is placed on the convex part of a lower die, an ornamental formed article is mounted on an upper die under the decompressed condition, and both dies are brought close to each other before the substance to be worked gets cooled and set. CONSTITUTION:A preheated substance 2 to be worked, composed of glass fibers 2a wreathed by melted polypropylene 2b, is placed on the convex part 27a of a lower die 27, while a formed article 16 of an ornamental sheet composed of an outer skin sheet made of vinyl chloride leather etc, an intermediate sheet 5 made of foamed resin etc. and an inner skin sheet 6 made of denatured polyethylene etc. and formed by a vacuum forming method or the like is mounted on the concave part 20a of an upper die 20 under the condition that piercing holes 34 are decompressed. When the upper die 20 is lowered before the substance 2 to be worked gets cooled and set, the formed article 16 of the ornamental sheet touches the substance 2 expands along the concave part 16a of the formed article 16. On the occasion a part of the inner skin sheet 6 is melted by the heat given by the substance 2 and the substance 2 and the formed article 16 of the ornamental sheet are joined in melting unitarily, and thereby an ornamental member 36 is formed through coating.</p> |
