<p>PURPOSE:To enable one recording and reproducing device to perform editing reproduction by easily erasing an unneeded part, by controlling the inhibition and high-speed run of a reproduction output by detecting specific frequency signals written at the beginning and ending of a part to be erased. CONSTITUTION:When a recorded magnetic tape is reproduced, a pulse, etc., of a frequency signal differing from recorded information is written at the beginning and ending of a part to be erased. This tape is reproduced and the pulse written at the beginning and ending of the erased part is detected to exercise control over the inhibition of a reproduction output, transition to a high-speed tape run, return to a normal reproduction speed, etc., so that one recording and reproducing device can perform editing reproduction by easily erasing an unneeded part even when using a four-track cassette tape without the cutting and connection of the tape and dubbing.</p> |
