PURPOSE:To obtain an original recording disk of large S/N in an excellent bit shape by forming a photoresist layer on a substance and a silver layer on it and then by exposing the resist layer while forming bits on the silver layer with a laser beam that has been modulated according to a recording signal. CONSTITUTION:On the top surface of glass disk 1, Cr layer 2 is formed by vapor deposition under vacuum and on layer 2, photoresist layer 3 is further formed in the spinner method. Next, Ag layer 4 is formed on layer 3 through silver mirror reaction and layer 4 is irradiated with a laser beam modulated by a recording signal simultaneously with layer 3. Next, layer 3 is developed. Since resist layer 3 at the photo sensitive part is protected by silver layer 4, the bit shape never gets larger too much. After development, remaining Ag layer 4 is removed with a dichromate mixed solution to complete the record. Thus, the original recording disk of large S/N which is available for simultaneous recording and reproduction with a lower output than the conventional one and have recording condition set easily can be obtained. |
