The switching block comprises a number of paralleled rotatable knobs each carrying one or more cams axially spaced along the knob at preselected angular positions relative to one another. Each cam on a knob cooperates with a respective spring leaf contact of a set of paralleled contacts connected to one of the receiver circuit terminals and is rotatable to urge the contact into engagement with a contact strip of one processing circuit terminal. Each contact strip extends across the knobs and is engageable with a predetermined contact in each contact set. The device is used to connect terminals to processing circuits in a selective manner.
