<p>New 4-oxo-2-thioxo tetrahydro-1,3-thiazine derivs. have formula (III) (where R is opt. substd. aralkyl; R' is H or Ph and R" is Ph). Cosmetic compsns. having anti-dandruff activity contain pref. 0.1-10(0.5-3)wt.% of at least one 4-oxo-2-thioxo tetrahydro-1,3-thiazine having formula (I) (where R1 is H, alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, carboxyalkyl, haloalkyl, cyanoalkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aralkyl opt. substd. in aryl part, aryl, alkyl-, halo-, nitro-, alkoxy-, aryloxy- or cyano-substd. aryl, pyridyl, thiazolyl, benzothiazolyl, thienyl, furyl, pyrazolyl, imidazolyl, pyridazinyl, thiadiazolyl, pyrimidyl or thiazinyl. R2 and R3 are H, halogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, COOH, aralkyl or opt. substd. aryl. R4 is H, halogen, alkyl, haloalkyl, carboxyalkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl, opt. substd. aryl or opt. substd. 2-furyl. R5 is H, halogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or opt. substd. aryl). The compsns. also contain cosmetic vehicles and additives. A new one-step, cold process for prepg. specific (I) cpds. is also claimed. (I) have good solubility in standard solvents for cosmetics, e.g. alcohols and aq. alcohols, and can be used in shampoos, hair-lotions and other hair- or scalp-treatment compsns.</p> |
