PURPOSE:To simplify inputs to a computer in the manufacture of IC, by composing in accordance with a grid system a handwritten logical diagram on which prescribed types of logic symbols and wiring lines are drawn and by applying the diagram to a coordinates reader and using a probe to generate symbol discrimination signals, wiring line front end and rear end signals and connection signals. CONSTITUTION:In making a logical diaphragm, standardized logic symbols are used and wiring lines are drawn on a grid. The symbols of size prescribed depending on their kind are selected. Terminals and the origin of each symbol are surely located on the grid. For example, a flip-flop is shown by a symbol consisting of a circle and a rectangular frame surrounding it and an inverter is shown by a symbol consisting of a circle and a triangle surrounding it. The origins of the logic symbols and the front and rear ends and bent points of wiring lines are thus indicated. Said procedure results in simplifying and accelerating input to a computer in the manufacture of IC. |
