PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity without increasing fog, by processing the titled material with the second color developing solution containing a p-phenylenediamine derivative, an organic inhibitor, and a black and white developer after color development in succession. CONSTITUTION:In performing complementary color development with a sensitizing processing solution successively after color development, a 0.3-4g p-phyenylenediamine derivative, a 0.2-20g organic inhibitor, such as a derivative of each of tetraazaindene or aminopurine, and a 0.1-1.5g black and white developer, such as a derivative of p-aminol or hydroquinone are added to 1 liter of the complementary color developing solution for the second color development. Addition of the combination of these 3 permits formation of a superior image low in increase of fog, good in gamma balance of cyan, magenta, and yellow, and high in sensitization effect. |
