PURPOSE:The titled composition suitable for vacuum or compression molding having improved heat resistance, flexibility, heat insulating properties, and cushioning characteristics, consisting essentially of a blend of a specific ethylene-propylene copolymer and ethylene. CONSTITUTION:A blend (preferably not less than 70wt%) of (A) a propylene copolymer having 1-15wt% (preferably 2-9wt%) ethylene and (B) a polyethylene having a density 0.92-0.945 (preferably 0.923-0.937) g/cm<3> as a main component is blended with (C) a crosslinking agent (e.g., a polyfunctional compound, e.g., divinylbenzene, etc.) and (D) a blowing agent. A weight ratio of A/B is 20- 80/80-20 (preferably 30-60/70-40), preferably crosslinking is carried out upto a degree of crosslinking 20-50 by electron rays irradiation, etc., and blowing is carried out upto extent of foaming 4-60 times by heating, etc.
