Solid material transfer pressure lock - moves granular material from low pressure to high pressure region using continuously turning rotor with several chambers

The lock device is used for the transfer of grainy solid material from a low pressure zone into a high pressure zone with a pressure difference of at least 5 bars between the zones. The device includes a continuously turnable rotor with several lock chambers separated from each other to receive and pass on the suspended solids. There is also a fixed housing with inlet openings in pairs for the inlet and outlet of the suspension and with liq. circuits to rinse in the suspended solids into a lock chamber in the low pressure zone and to rinse out from a further lock chamber in the high pressure zone. Each liq. circuit is equipped with a pump and the number of lock chambers in the rotor is either 3 or a whole multiple of that figure. The housing has three pairs of openings with each pair of openings capable of being coordinated with one each of the chambers through turning of the rotor.
