Carpeting yarns chenille machine - has suction trunks and suction port in a cuff to extract loose fibres at yarn cutting point

The rotating unit of a chenille machine is surrounded by a cuff, where at each station at least two yarns are fed to a winding head. There is a suction opening in the cuff. There is a suction trunk on both sides of the circular blade, between two rollers where the yarns are twisted and cut pointed at the roller gap. The suction port and the suction trunks are connected to a common suction channel. Designed particular e.g. for the manufacture of carpeting yarns, the mechanism provides a positive extraction of loose fibre material where the yarns are cut.
