PURPOSE:To produce pollution-free power by making it possible for a superconductor and a magnet, which are placed face to face, to be displaced relatively and linearly and by varying the temperature of the superconductor periodically, thereby producing the driving power for reciprocal, linear motion. CONSTITUTION:A piston A made up of a superconductor, to which a piston rod D is fixed, is inserted into a cylinder C in such a manner that the piston A can make a free, reciprocal movement. The piston A is constantly pushed by a compression spring E in the direction of a magnet B. Cooling gas G is allowed to pass through between the piston A and the cylinder C and is flowed intermittently from an inlet port IN to an outlet port OUT. Accordingly, the superconductor-manufactured piston A comes in a superconducting state periodically and makes a reciprocal movement right and left. This reciprocal movement is converted into a rotational movement, and both movements can be used as the driving power. Accordingly, the pollution-free driving-power with a noise suppressed can be obtained, without using fuel. |
