The equipment detachably secures two or more bodies together, having two halves (5,6) together forming a cylindrical or prismatic assembly. Each is mounted on one or more of the bodies, and has a protrusion (11a,11b) on an end face (9) while a connection member (13) fits over both protrusions so as to secure the halves together, being at right angles to the joint face (7) between them. The halves can be mirror images of each other, and there can be connection members fitting over them at both ends. They can together form a cylinder, with tapering protrusions over which mating flanges on the connection members fit, the members being held together by a screw through the cylinder centre.
