Heat transfer tube - for steam condensation

Heat transfer coefficient is increased by incorporation of grooves on the outside of steam condensation tubes. The grooves can be vertical, spiral or curved, and are 0.3 to 3 mm wide and 0.3-3 mm deep. The depth and width are pref the same.
