Stereophonic sound reproduction system - has line of loudspeakers each with two variable delay circuits for left and right stereo channels

The system comprises several separate loudspeakers (1-9) located in a line and producing two wavefronts inclined to one another. Each loudspeaker has two delay circuits (37-54) associated with it (one for the right stereo channel and one for the left). Undelayed left and right signals are passed to the bass loudspeakers whilst only the treble and middle frequency loudspeakers (1-9) are supplied via delay circuits. The stereophonic effect is perceived distinctly throughout the room containing the system.
