<p>The spring has one or more suspension elements, with a cylinder housing a piston rod, two connections pointing in opposite directions of the spring, and a gas pressure store. The suspension element is fastened to the vehicle chassis and the axle, and the pressure store is connected to the cylinder housing of the suspension element. The connection conduit (6) between the pressure store (5) and the cylinder housing of the suspension element, contains a change over member (10). This permits the suspension characteristics of the suspension element to be adjusted to two different values. The element contains a differential piston, with one cylinder space (7a) being connected to the pressure store. The other cylinder space (7b) may be connected via the change over member to a hydraulic fluid tank (13), or the pressure store.</p> |
