PURPOSE:Hair dyes developing colors by oxidation that contains 2,6-diaminopyridine, a salt of p-aminodiphenylamine and 2,5-diaminopyridine, thus being mutagenecity-free, dyeing hair fast with high tinting strength with high economic efficiency. CONSTITUTION:2,6-Diaminopyridine or its salt, a salt of p-aminodiphenylamine and 2,5-diaminopyridine or its salt are added in a molar proportion of 1.00:0.42- 0.52:0.50-2.00. When necessary, the mixture is additionally combined with a tackifier and a wetting-out agent and the dye is used in the form of solid or aqueous solution. By mixing the three components, hair is dyed in black or a little reddish black in small amounts of dye intermediates. The dye is very safe because 2,6-diaminopyridine is not mutagenic unlike conventional color-modifying intermediates. |
