The game can be played automatically, with an operator against a built-in programme, or with two opposing operators. An operator has an 8-position selector and a speed controller to control the speed and direction of movement of his players. The movements of players and ball are further controlled by a probability factor which is produced by a random selection from five trains of pulses; they are further influenced by logic networks dependent on the positions of the players and the rules of the game.
