The container, such as may be used for electronic testing or teaching equipment, is arranged for stacking on top of a similar container. It has at least one pair of grooves (16) in its upper surface (14) and coupling brackets (32,34,39) on its lower surface (19), which are capable of engaging the grooves of the next lower container. Each groove has a laterally undercut portion (17) capable of engagement by a corresponding projection (36) on each bracket to hold the containers together when stacked. The height of the brackets may be such as to provide a space for ventilation between stacked containers.
