PURPOSE:To stabilize combustion flames and improve combustion efficiency by adding a specified ratio of Fe2O3 or ferrite to a composite material of betalite or cordierite oxides and clay for making ceramics of a combustion ring, etc. CONSTITUTION:A combustion aiding ceramic is arranged, for example, as a combustion ring 7 near the combustion part of combustion flames blown out from many holes 5 of a burner head, gives concentrating action to the flames as it is heated by the combustion parts 6 of the flames and prevents diffusion of the flames. Said ceramic is formed by adding 1-15wt% of Fe2O3or ferrite (MOFe<2>O<3>; M represents a bivalent metal.) to a composite material of betalite (Li-Al-Si Series) or cordierite (Mg-Al-Si Series) oxides and clay. By so doing, the concentrating action of the flames can be made more uniform and complete combustion can be attained. |
