1. Head protection hood (1) covering the complete head and having an uncovered observation opening (10), a distribution chamber (3) located above the observation opening (10) and provided with a plurality of orifices (4) for producing an air curtain covering the observation opening (10), whereby the distribution chamber (3) can be connected to a compressed air source, whilst a discharge opening (6) located within the hood is connected to a fresh air supply line (5), characterized in that the discharge opening (6) is located below the observation opening (10) in the vicinity of the mouth and nose openings of the wearer of the head protection hood (1) and that the orifices (4) are arranged and formed above the observation opening (10) for producing an air curtain located approximately in the surface of observation opening (10). |
