PURPOSE:To prevent the excessive heat stress between members and to made it possible to operate for a long period by a method wherein, in the titled apparatus supported on a support standard, a part of a post of the support stand is constituted in a horizontally movable manner and a beam post is contacted with an exhaust gas as well as a short circuit preventing plate of the exhaust gas is provided between the beam post and a casing. CONSTITUTION:In a structure supported on a self-standing support standard and carrying out the denitrating reaction, a catalyst support member 3, a post member 4, a beam member 5 and a casing 6 are separated and, between members and the casing, a gas flowing space is provided to equalize a heat receiving condition of a total surface of the members. A gas short circuit preventing plate 9 is provided around a catalyst layer 2 and one of the post member 4 is fixed and other posts are allowed to enable the heat expanding change by a roller 8. The casing 6 is held by a support metal fitting 10 fixed to the beam member 5 and the beam member 5 is formed so as to be able to contact the outer periphery thereof with an exhaust gas to eliminate the unequal heat distribution within the members of the same material as well as to prevent the excessive heat stress from being generated. |
