PURPOSE:To perform the on-line test of transmission line connecting a number of terminals, by using the test unit as the terminal to the control unit through the connection of it to common line and enabling to succeed the start of terminal based on the condition of the permission from the control unit. CONSTITUTION:The test unit 26 is connected to the transmission line 3 so that the terminals 2-1-2-N can be tested the same as other terminals 2-1-2-N, and the control unit 1A is connected to the transmission line 3. Further, requried usual processing is made by the control circuit 27 provided at the control unit 1A, and the presence of interruption processing factor is retrieved at the transmission control circuit 28 for the terminals 2-1-2-N at a vacant time. Further, the test unit 26 stores the test request periodically and after confirming the retrieval from the control unit 1A, the test processing request is produced. Further, the control unit 1A energizes the transmission line 3 via the circuit 28 during the retrieval and retrieves the presence of the request of the terminals 2-1-2-N, assigns the assigned code at the code detection circuit 29, and transmits the test permission signal to the test unit 26 from the circuit 27. |
